Family Getaway to the Coromandel
When I was very young my grandparents owned one of the original sections at Pauanui. Things were much simpler back then: there was an out-house with a shower and toilet, and a caravan. That was it. My parents would bring their canvas tent along for our summer holidays and we made so many incredible memories running around the sandy pine tree lined streets and walkways of that beautiful holiday destination. Sadly my grandparents sold it as retirement loomed on the horizon, but the memories that my family share of the place are still very close to our hearts. It seemed only fitting that we take Sienna with her family back to her daddy’s childhood haunt, before her uncle (my brother) departed on a one way ticket to European adventures. Miss you brotha x
